Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) offers information technology management consulting, systems integration and business process outsourcing (BPO) services, including application development, data hosting, network management, payment processing and human resource provision. Like competitors EDS and IBM it operates globally, with most work coming from major corporations and government agencies. In the US it is a major defence contractor, with the federal government responsible for around a third of its revenue
